We work to develop your identity, using your name in all marketing and promotional activities. A regular and continuing publishing program is critical to success in building your identity.
For a relationship to work successfully, publishers need to be prepared to invest the time to send us information on their new titles well ahead of publication.
We operate from one location with your books kept in our own warehouse. You, however, retain ownership of your books as we hold them on a consignment basis.
The book trade has seen many changes, and many businesses have had to close. Being aware of this, ISBS has a conservative approach to financial management and has no external debt. |

Publisher Requirements for ISBS Representation
- Publisher
is able to assign exclusive distribution rights to the North
American market to ISBS
- Produce
mainly English language books of a specialty, historical or
academic nature in a quality accepted by North American standards
- Produce
a minimum of 5 new books a year
- Maintain
an ongoing publication schedule
- Produce
catalogues or flyers on a regular basis
- Has
the ability to transfer bibliographic data electronically
