How do I order a book?
To order a title, you must search for that
title through our advanced search page
or the Quick Title Search box located at the top of each
page. After you have found the title you wish to order, click on
the more info link and then click the purchase title
button. This will send you to our secure shopping cart where you
information will be collected.
How much will shipping cost?
US Addresses: $5.50 for the first book,
$1.50 each additional book
Canadian Addresses: $10.50 for the first book, $2.00 each additional
book
(individual rates only, please refer to our retail schedules for institutional
rates)
How long will it take to
receive my books?
We will have your web order shipped within
two working days of receipt. We ship UPS to addresses in the United
States and USPS to Canada. We will mail you your invoice number
once it has shipped so that you may track your order via our website.
Stock Levels
We update stock levels at the end of every
working day, so they are NOT live. If you wish to check availability
of any title, please feel free to give us a call at 1-800-944-6190
between 8:00am and 5:00pm PST Monday through Friday. You can also
place your order over the phone if you wish.
What happens if the book
I want is Temp out of Stock?
When a book is marked as Temp out of Stock,
it means that we do not have any copies of the book in our warehouse.
We have ordered copies from the publisher and are simply awaiting
the next shipment. The average time between shipments is 4-6 weeks.
As we do not charge your card until we ship
your order, you should place your order, ensuring that you will
get a copy as soon as the title arrives. If we do not receive any
orders for a title, it is possible that our ordering system will
not order any copies from the publisher until we do.
How do I return a book
I purchased?
If you are a individual who purchased the book
directly from us, please call 1-800-944-6190 and our customer service
representatives will help you.
If you are a reseller or commercial customer, please refer to our
Returns Page.
What is your privacy
policy?
Simple: We do not share your personal information
with anyone outside the company.
To use our shopping cart you must have cookies enabled, as you
will receive a temporary cookie which will expire in 3 hours.
I couldn't find the title
I was looking for...
Our title database is constantly expanding
and changing. If you are having trouble finding a specific title,
please contact us at 1-800-944-6190 and one of our customer service
representatives will help you find the book you are looking for.
The title that I want is
Not Yet Published.
We are simply trying to market as many of
the titles that we distribute as possible. Not Yet Published
titles will be available as long as we have information on them.
If you would like to pre-order a NYP book, you may do so
simply by clicking on the "Purchase Book" button. We will
reserve a copy for you and ship it to you as soon as we recieve
it. ISBS will not charge your credit card until we ship your order
out.
Exam Copies
Exam Copies are for professors to review for possible use in upcoming
courses. These are offered at a 50% discount off the list price,
plus shipping & handling fees. This discount is offered on
a prepaid non-returnable basis only. Quantities are limited.
To obtain an exam copy, please fax your request to 503-280-8832,
or email it to examrequest@isbs.com. The request should include:
your name, address, and phone number; the class information, including
name,
start date, and expected enrollment.
We will contact you with a proforma invoice (quote), so you can
pay by check or credit card.
